Georgina Brett Chinnery |

 |
| Designer's Profile |
Georgina built her own designer brand Bombarock in 2006.
Initially working in fabrics, using bold designs and experimenting with texture and application, Georgina now works primarily in leather. As a medium leather has the scope for further experimentation with pattern and texture, plus being a higher end product combines durability with opulence, comfort and style.
Georgina has been studying the feasibility of combining art, 3D design, upholstery and leather decoration. The marriage of the 2 crafts, upholstery and decorated leather, harks back to the renaissance period. However, the decoration of leather panels can be traced as far back as 9th century in Spain. Bombarock's leather furniture and interior pieces incorporated these ancient techniques of tooling leather, resulting in a modern look for today’s contemporary furniture market.
Her latest design the ‘Skullduggery Chair’ was shown in Vogue and French book ‘Les Livres Des Vanites’, as well as the Georgian Plantation chair at Liberty Store in London Regent Street.
