In 1998 Jorg Adam and Dominik Harborth set up the design studio Adam+Harborth in Berlin Mitte after their studies in Hamburg and Berlin. Their work ‚Helfershelfer, also the Second Aid’, spread beyond the design scene and was recognized by international audiences. They work for clients such as the German Museum of Blades [Klingenmuseum Solingen], Autostadt Wolfsburg, the Jewlery-Label Very Lustre, BASF-The Chemical Company, Konstantin Slawinski – Housewarming Objects, CEDON MuseumShops and Swatch. They have been teaching design in Dresden, Johannesburg, Berlin, Salvador [Brasilien] and at the CAA – China Academy of Art in Hangzhou. Since 2008 Dominik Harborth has been the professor for Product Design at the Free University of Bozen [Italy].
Jörg Adam and Dominik Harborth lived with their families in Berlin and Munich. Their surprising confession at the end, “The best things in live are no things!“
