Founded in 1899, HIROTA GLASS utilizes a traditional Japanese glass making procedure in manufacture. No machines are used in the production of HIROTA GLASS, which is instead carefully handcrafted. HIROTA GLASS is tempered and heat resistant. The company places emphasis on excellent design, and a series of glass influenced by design of 1920’s and 30’s Art Deco has received numerous inquiries from overseas.
HIROTA GLASS manufactures drinking vessels, tea utensils, soy sauce containers, and other items used in the serving of Japanese food. From thin, delicate creations to thick, practical pieces, HIROTA GLASS products are crafted with a high level of technique and perform well during use.
