Since 2001 Oskar has been researching in the field of Computer Aided Architectural Design CAAD at the ETH Zurich where, in 2003, he developed the FIDU (free-inner-pressure-deformation) technology.
His first products developed using this technology were realized by the furniture manufacturer Hay, the design business Magazin and the Suddeutsche newspaper design edition. His work can be found at the permanent exhibitions in the Pinakothekder Moderne in Munich and in the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris. His signature stool “PLOPP”, using the FiDU technology, has been awarded with the Red Dot, the YDMI award and the Republic of Germany Design Prize.
